Your privacy rights
Under privacy laws, you have various rights in relation to your personal information and we respect those rights. In particular, you have a right to:
- Request a copy of personal information we hold about you
- Ask that we update the personal information we hold about you, or correct such personal information that you think is incorrect or incomplete
- Object to our processing of your personal information

How can I find out if I'm listed on World-Check?
We will then email you at the address you provide to ask for information to confirm your identity. This is to safeguard your own privacy. Any identification evidence that you provide will only be used to verify your identity for the purpose of your requests.
When we’ve verified your identity, we will then tell you whether you’re on World-Check or not. We usually do this within 10 business days or in accordance with the response time required under applicable data protection laws.
If you are listed on World-Check, you may request your information is updated, corrected, subject to restricted processing or removed if you have good reasons for doing so. To do so, please email email@example.com.
We will consider your request carefully and will act to stop inaccurate, outdated, irrelevant, or excessive information about you being held in World-Check.
We may need supporting information and/or documentation from you in order to consider your request properly.
Once we have decided whether to update, correct, or remove your information in World-Check, we will let you know what the outcome is and what action we have taken (e.g. update, correction, removal, and/or making a note of concerns you have expressed on your report). We will aim to do so within 10 working days and will always provide reasons for our decisions.
We make no charge for handling the requests described on this page.
There are limits to the rights that you have in relation to your personal data and in certain circumstances we may not be required or able to meet your request, or we may meet your request in part only. Where this occurs, we will provide you with an explanation of the legitimate basis on which we are unable to meet your request. We will only contact you at the email address you give us, so please do make sure you provide the right address. If you have completed the “Am I on World-Check?” form above and not heard from us, please check your junk mail folder. You may also email firstname.lastname@example.org.
