Guy Faulconbridge leads Reuters Brexit coverage and directs political, economic and business coverage of the United Kingdom and Ireland as London bureau chief. Guy graduated from the London School of Economics in 1998 and studied Russian at Moscow State Institute of International Relations.
He began his career covering stocks and bonds at Bloomberg News from 1999-2004 before joining Reuters where he ran political and general news coverage of the former Soviet Union from Moscow. In Russia, he covered Vladimir Putin, the Kremlin, trial of Mikhail Khodorkovsky, oligarchs and the 2008 Georgian war.
Guy speaks native English and broadcast level Russian.
