About Stuart
Stuart Bunyan leads the architecture team responsible for the design, technology, strategy and governance of Refinitiv’s Real-Time data technology platforms.
In 2002, he began his career in real time market data with Gissing Software, a company that specialised in market data platform integration and publication products.
After Gissing was acquired by Reuters in 2007, Stuart held a number of technology roles within Reuters, and subsequently Thomson Reuters and Refinitiv.
In 2019, he become Director, Real-Time Architecture at Refinitiv. Refinitiv Real-Time data solutions are relied upon by hundreds of thousands of customers around the globe to provide them with the insight they need to make informed trading decisions.
Stuart has a degree from the University of Birmingham in Physics with Astrophysics.
Stuart relocated to Nottinghamshire in 2017 after having spent 19 years living and working in London. Outside of work, he has a young family, and enjoys pretty much all forms of cycling, especially cross-country mountain biking.
