Tom Chan is currently a senior credit analyst within Refinitiv Evaluated Pricing Service. He is responsible for performing fundamental credit research and valuations on distressed, defaulted, and high-yield municipal securities.
For the past 15 years, Tom has taken on senior roles covering a wide-range of high-yield and high-grade credits in both the municipal and corporate fixed income markets.
Prior to Refinitiv, Tom worked on the buy-side at Ziegler Capital Management and Barclays directing fundamental research and credit strategy in both tax-exempt and taxable strategies.
Earlier in his career, Tom was a vice-president at Morgan Stanley and a credit analyst at Lord Abbett. He started his career at Fitch Ratings as an associate director in the Health Care Group.
Tom is a graduate of Babson College and a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation. He is also a member of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts and Municipal Analysts Group of New York.
