About Walaa
Walaa Alfardan is a Senior Content Analyst in the Refinitiv Islamic Finance division, with more than 15 years of professional experience.
She is responsible for enhancing and maintaining the Islamic equity asset class, establishing, and sustaining relationships with Islamic finance content providers, and handling many training and workshop sessions, both regionally and globally.
Previously, she worked as a senior dealer with a prominent investment bank in Bahrain, covering the MENA region, managing a rich client database of high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients.
She has Master’s degree from DePaul University, specialising in the Science of Finance, and a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Bahrain.
