The biggest issues facing our world require bold, collective action. And we believe that empowering a sustainable future starts with data. It also requires the most talented individuals who can formulate and share innovative solutions.
That’s why Refinitiv is proud to be a delegate partner at this year’s One Young World summit in London. It is where these young global leaders will come together to learn, ideate and collaborate to help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
We have 10 incredible delegates who are committed to global social impact and will be joining nearly 3,000 changemakers at this three day event.
One of the themes of the summit is planetary health, which aligns with our own public pledges and approach to sustainable leadership – which include not only our public carbon neutral and renewable energy commitments, but also our products, partnerships and social impact initiatives.
We've even taken this a step further when it comes to our brand presence at the event. Through our partnership with Canary Wharf Group’s “Breaking the Plastic Habit” campaign and Ecobooth, our exhibitor stand has been designed and made entirely out of plastic collected and recycled from the Canary Wharf estate in London.

Repurpose with purpose
Our stand is 100% sustainable, aligning to our sustainability ethos. Partnering with Ecobooth and the Canary Wharf Group, we have transformed 700 kilograms of plastic from around Canary Wharf (where we are located) into our stand at One Young World.
That is the equivalent of 29,167 plastic bottles (500 ml) or 1,666,667 single-use plastic straws.

Social innovation in action
Developed from an initial idea by an employee, TicketAid is an innovative, philanthropic alternative to the secondary ticket market - with unused event tickets from across our business and our partners being sold at face value - with all proceeds going to charity.
With $150,000 raised to date, come chat to us about how you can join the platform, start reducing corporate waste and fill seats for good causes.
