Elaine Tan is a Senior Analyst, Deals Intelligence within Refinitiv’s Investing and Advisory Division in Asia Pacific.
Through regular research reports and analysis she provides insights into capital markets, M&A and deal trends in Asia Pacific, including Japan and China. Elaine’s research has been featured in various financial publications including Financial Times, South China Morning Post, and Nikkei.
She works in close collaboration with the regional PR team, and has been quoted in a number of prominent media publications across the region, such as Financial Times, EJ Insight, 21st Century Business Herald, Caijing, and The Economic Times.
Elaine joined Thomson Reuters in 2010 and spearheaded many important initiatives for Deals Intelligence in the region, building a presence in China/Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Japan, and Australia.
Prior to this appointment, Elaine worked at Taylor Rafferty, where she provided stock surveillance reports and peer group monitoring for corporate clients.
From 1998-2003, Elaine worked for Thomson Financial as a member of the Corporate Services team.
