About Helen
Helen Chan is a regulatory intelligence expert in the Enterprise Risk Management division of Regulatory Intelligence. She covers compliance-related issues in the Canadian financial services sector for Regulatory Intelligence.
Helen first joined us in 2010 as the Asia Pacific Legal Editor for Westlaw Business Currents. She was based in Hong Kong and covered regulatory issues pertaining to mergers and acquisitions and to cross-border investment.
Helen holds a degree in media studies from the University of Western Ontario and a Juris Doctor degree from Queen’s University in Canada. She is a qualified U.S. attorney and is licensed to practice in the state of New York.
