About Kerim
Kerim Acanal is Global Head of Emerging Market (EM) Rates and CEEMEA Cross Products at Tradeweb, where he is responsible for developing the firm’s EM Derivatives and Local Cash offerings.
Kerim has more than 16 years’ trading experience in EM local markets, having built and managed trading desks across various banks, including Citibank, Credit Suisse and Lehman Brothers.
Prior to Tradeweb, he was Senior Portfolio Manager at Pharo Management, a macro hedge fund.
In 2013, he co-founded EMBonds, an electronic trading platform for corporate and sovereign EM issues.
Kerim holds an MSc in Financial Engineering from ESSEC Business School in Paris, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Bosphorus University in Istanbul.
