Shereen Mohamed is a Senior Research Analyst at Refinitiv with more than 10 years of professional experience.
She is responsible for delivering key statistics on the USD 3 trillion Islamic finance industry through the Islamic Finance Development Indicator (IFDI). She supports government entities and multilateral organisations in achieving their Islamic finance objectives using IFDI.
She is also responsible for delivering the Islamic Finance Development Report and spent the past decade conducting extensive market research and analysis on Islamic finance whether on specific countries or asset classes such as sukuk and Islamic funds.
Prior joining the research team, Shereen worked as a Fundamentals Analyst at Thomson Reuters.
Shereen holds a BA (Hons) in Banking and Finance from Bangor University, an Advanced Diploma in Islamic Finance from Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Actuarial Science from University of Leicester.
